Situated in the heart of Khayelitsha, Rands is a multi-faceted venue, a heaven for good music, food, and quality entertainment.
Our signature meat dishes accompanied by real township inspired sides like our popular chakalaka, creamy spinach, and pap, will have your palate shouting for more – take that and combine it with our premium space and décor, and you’ll agree that we are indeed the uber tshisa Nyama of Cape Town.
On the entertainment side, Rands sure knows how to throw the meanest parties led by our resident DJ and a host of other local DJs from the surrounding area.
Our Music ranges from mostly house to hip hop and when the mood allows, some RnB.
So, if you are looking for good company, upscale entertainment, and tasty food, then look no further!

4 months agoIt’s located in a township, so some people may be a bit skeptical to visit. But it’s absolutely worth it! The vibe is amazing, the food/ braai meat is delicious (best I’ve ever had) and affordable, although I had to wait 2 hours to get it because it was packed and their kitchen has no order whatsoever.

8 months agoNice place to chill, especially during the weekend. Must visit. When I went they were having an series of events called 'Summer Sessions', and it turned out the event was free despite big names like Kelvin Momo, Simmy, and Muzical Chef performing. Good vibes all around. Love the fact that they give back to their community. If going, do take note that they close at 11pm, try arriving before sunset as it can get quite packed around sunset time. Also check their socials as they give updates on what's planned from time to time.
