a year agoCute Café. The location is really beautiful. I tried the fried banana chips with guacamole. So good! I can really recommend the place. You also need to check out the art gallery next door.

9 months agoLovely atmosphere in the cafe ... Good wifi and relaxed vibes . Didn't love my meal but it was fine.. it was just uninspired. Such a Stark contrast to the art all around and inside ..

2 years agoUpon stepping into the cafe, I was immediately captivated by the cozy atmosphere that enveloped the space. The soothing, quiet music playing in the background created a pleasant ambiance, perfect for focusing on work. The interior design showcased an abundance of artwork. The seating was comfortable, and the cafe provided fast and reliable free WiFi, further enhancing the work-friendly environment. One art piece, in particular, caught my eye—a vibrant painting of two ladies dressed in 70's style attire, leaning against a car. This pop of color was just one example of the engaging artwork found throughout the cafe. Even the floor was covered in a mural of little coffee cups that extended all the way to the entrance, transforming the entire driveway into one massive, visually appealing display. As for the food and beverages, I ordered an iced Mocha that tasted more like an iced latte. Although I didn't taste any chocolate, the drink still satisfied my craving for caffeine and helped me focus on my work. The cheeseburger I ordered, however, left much to be desired. Priced at 9,000 RWF (roughly $9), my expectations were quite high, especially considering the many other delicious and more affordable cheeseburgers available in Kigali. Unfortunately, the burger tasted basic and bland—something I could easily make at home. Despite the disappointing burger, the staff at the cafe was incredibly friendly and attentive from the moment I walked in. They greeted me with warm smiles and even checked in on my meal. The service was also impressively quick, with both my iced Mocha and burger arriving promptly. Friendly and quick service are a rarity in Kigali. In conclusion, I will undoubtedly visit this cafe again for its welcoming atmosphere, unique artwork, and cozy workspace. However, I'll stick to their coffee offerings and explore other items on the menu instead of revisiting the cheeseburger.
