Balafon Beach Resort

The rooms are nice but humid, and there is no area to dry your clothes or any washing service (none was offered). The restaurant was very nice! The customer service was great too — special thanks to Lamine and Fatou, the waiters. The beach and the swimming pool are beautiful

The hotel has a good location, with the facilities a bit outdated. The main problem is the restaurant service is really poor. I’ve stayed in many hotels, and this one has the most complicated ordering system. We chose the half-board option, but it was hard to even get a proper meal. Next time, I’ll try another hotel.

Oh my God!! What can I say about this brilliant hotel. Everything was almost perfect. There are a few repairs that need doing, but those are minor. Great rooms, with very comfortable beds and pillows. We had rooms B26 and B27 during our 10 days' stay. The pools and rooms are cleaned daily. There is an excellent choice of buffet breakfast every morning, and every Sunday, there is BBQ with a variety of dishes for $1300Dalasi per person. You can eat as much as you like. Water and a soft drink are included, but if you want alcohol, then it is chargeable. Staff are kind and very accommodating. From checking us in at 3am to changing our room because I wanted a private pool. The bar and cleaning staff were like family. Always helping us and never saying no to anything we asked for. Great hotel, we will be back.

Disappointing experience from the hotel. Food poisoning from chicken and after reading reviews I’m clearly not the first. Rooms are nowhere near worth the price paid

We both enjoyed our stay.breakfast can be very chaotic. Evening meal when you can order of menu was fine.. but when you have to have of the buffet .. what a let down.. I could not eat any of it . Not a lot of choice.that was the only let down for me. The manager fatou was very good she was very helpful. I would have given it a 5 star but for us the biggest let down was the buffet in the evening
