a year agoI've visited Gorges Lodge several times to have a drink with friends who were visiting me. The views of the Batoka Gorges and the Zambezi River down below are simply stunning! Their menu and liqour selection was top notch. It's a good place to drive to from Victoria Falls on a lazy Saturday or Sunday afternoon and just wind down with friends and family. I've never booked here but I was shown to some of their luxurious rooms which weren't occupied on the day, including at Little Gorges. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I'll be back for another gin and tonic soon.

8 years agoThis is the most beautiful, awesome place I have ever stayed. Our room and bath overlooking the gorge was beautiful. The bath was supplied with high end products that afforded all the comforts of home. The grounds were peacefully designed. Walking through out the property was delightful. The food was delicious and the staff was helpful and charming. And, to put the icing on the cake, we were treated to a discussion describing the habits of the Black Eagles in the lovely open terrace. I highly reccomend the Gorges Lodge in Zimbabwe

6 years agoWe really enjoyed our stay to Gorges Lodge. The view is spectacular and the service is excellent. The rooms are wonderful and the food is outstanding. We also received individualized attention and had a personalized tour of the Victoria Fall area.

7 years agoGreat location perched high above Zambezi. Lovely views of eagles and nests from above. Half an hour into Vic falls but they lay on transport. Great breakfasts. Evening meal is a set menu and very good.

5 years agoBest views over Batoka gorge mean you can view the resident black eagles from above from below and even at eye level riding the thermals above the Zambezi. Staff are friendly and helpful, food great and each lodge has unique view. Both bar and dining area also have views over the gorge, such a chilled romantic place to unwind. Loads to do in Victoria Falls just a short drive away. Great restaurants, I can recommend Three Monkeys near Curio market for good food and atmosphere.
