Radisson Blu Dakar

Fantastic hotel with amazing facilities! Breakfast was fantastic - one of the best breakfast buffet we have had! Has access to four different restaurants on site, which have different themes. Room service also was great. Best features was the amazing pool and pool side bar which had fantastic entertainment almost daily, but especially weekends. Also, there is a shopping mall connected to the hotel which has everything you can ask for including a grocery store, pharmacy, cinema and restaurants. The spa was also fantastic with a sauna, steam room and hydropool as well as has a well-stocked gym free for guest use. Service was fantastic. The area is a great location - close to a beautiful local public beach, the African Renaissance Monument and the African Souvenir Market park plus much more.

I must express my deep disappointment with Noom Hotel Dakar Sea Plaza. Over the years, I have been a paying guest of the hotel for accommodation, brunches, and other services, and my organization recently selected this venue to host an important event for 200 people. Despite sending a formal letter and making several follow-up phone calls, I have yet to receive any official response from the team in charge. Instead, I have repeatedly been told “I’ll call you back,” without any follow-through. This lack of communication is extremely concerning, especially for a hotel of your standing. Timely and professional correspondence is key in hospitality, and unfortunately, this experience has left us questioning whether Noom Hotel Dakar is a reliable partner for future collaborations.

The friendliest and most professional/efficient staff I've come across in a while. If the treatment I had was the norm, this hotel should be the best in the region. Great location, big room, several eating and entertainment options (bars, venues, etc etc). Pay the extra for sea-view rooms, it's worth it. The breakfast has all options one would like. After staying in various hotels, this will now be my landing spot in Dakar.

Noom Sea Plaza has a great atmosphere—especially by the pool on Friday nights with a live DJ. The vibe is lively and stylish, and the mocktails were refreshing (I didn’t have alcohol, but the drinks were well made). It’s a lovely place to hang out and soak in the ambiance. That said, the poolside food really let the experience down. The Caesar salad came with a mustard-based dressing instead of the classic one—and they didn’t have the proper dressing when I asked. The burger meat was thick, rubbery, and lacked flavor, and even the chips were bland. The maki rolls were good, but the portion was small for the high price. Oddly enough, the hot chocolate was probably the best thing I had. Great for drinks and a vibe—just don’t come hungry.

Heartfelt Thanks for the Exceptional Care from Penda During my husband stay at the hotel,He unfortunately fell seriously ill. In such a difficult and unexpected situation, he was incredibly fortunate to receive the dedicated support of Penda, a truly outstanding member of the hotel staff. Penda went above and beyond to ensure my husband was cared for with compassion and professionalism. She checked on him constantly, helped arrange medical assistance, and even visited him at the hospital to make sure everything went smoothly. Her empathy, patience, and kindness brought him so much comfort during a stressful time. Thanks to her unwavering support, He felt safe and looked after every step of the way. Penda is a remarkable person and a true asset to the hotel. We will always be deeply grateful for her help and her heart.
