2 months agoOur experience at Azalaï Hotel (Marhaba) was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism. A special thanks to Mr. Mahmoud at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful and accommodating. His fluent English skills made everything easier, and he went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay. One of the features that really stood out was the on-site pharmacy. Though small, it was truly a life-saver, especially when we needed quick access to basic medical supplies without having to leave the hotel. The hotel security is also excellent—very professional and discreet. We felt completely safe and at ease during our entire stay. Rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The restaurant served delicious food with a good variety, and the central location made getting around Nouakchott very convenient. Highly recommended! A big thank you to the Azalaï Hotel (Marhaba) team—and especially to Mr. Mahmoud—for making our stay so pleasant and stress-free.

in the last weekI stayed for 7 days, and overall the experience was good — the room was clean except for the noisy air conditioner, the staff were satisfactory. However, I did face an issue with the airport shuttle. Due to a flight delay, I contacted the hotel by phone and email to reschedule. I even received an email confirmation from Aichetou Sow. Despite this, when I arrived, the shuttle was not there. After calling the front desk, I was told there was no reservation for that day and that I would need to wait an additional hour for the shuttle to arrive. The food was generally good, except for the chicken. It left an unpleasant smell on my hand, which suggests the cleaning process before cooking needs to be reconsidered.

4 months agoI had an enjoyable stay. My only remarks are that the drinking water providentiel per day is not enough for prevailing weather conditions. The location creates inconvenience for vehicular traffic but this is offset by the proximity to several government institutions. On the whole I envoyer the quiet and calm atmosphere.

2 months agoThe hotel is good, the staff are friendly and willing to help, rooms are great. The gym is in disrepair and needs equipment fixing. The frist week at the hotel was great but after giving a decent review, a number of points with food preparation and the cooking of the food, especially the hot plate at breakfast presented continued issues. After a clear and professional discussion with the hotel mangers, who offed a sincere apologie and said they would rectify any issues highlighted. The restaurant its self is kept clean restaurant staff are outstanding and provide a great service and are always willing to help. Update: Incositancy, Incositancy Incositancy. At the 3 month point of our stay at the hotel Azala my honest opion and only Major point would be the hotels food service, the day to day service is like russian roulette, so in consitant, you could eat the same meal every day and it would never be the same, it can be cold one day hot the next or coverd in oil or just poorly cooked. Yet the mangament still do nothing about it even after complaining for 3 months. Breakfast is the most inconsistent with cold food warmed slowly on a hot plate (Meat) and missing items daily. I had a meeting with the mangament about restaurant cleanliness and they begged me to change my review, quite Frankley nothing has changed in regards to food and still the SIMPLE things are going wrong daily.
