The jerk chicken and pork where both incredibly dry and poorly seasoned, it was quite unfortunate as both dishes had been highly recommended as a fan-favorite. The drinks were fair and the rice was good although this was after adding quite a bit of salt. Was looking forward to great Jamaican food but it was a huge let down. The service however was really good, our waiter Locadia was constantly checking in. Safe to say I won’t be returning any time soon, can’t risk it

My husband & I went there Aug 23. The steam "Bream" fish was the best I've tasted. It's actually Tilapia. My husband had oxtail & rice & peas. He said it was good too. We went back the next day with a group of friends. They all loved it. The atmosphere & staff courtesy was excellent. I gave 4 stars because we had to wait quite a while for our fish to be freshly cooked on both occasions. It's cheaper & quicker to have the buffet meal 25usd per head. Try their amazing Sorrel Wine and Sorrel beer. They also have Pimento wine & a range of Appleton Rums. The owners, a husband & wife team, introduced themselves. He's from JA. She's from Zim. They import some food stuff & Beverages from Jamaica.

Average place, the food is good enough. The service is good. I didn't feel like I was in Jamaica:D. The good point is that they have a good bar, you can have a drink after dinner. I had the pork jerk with coconut rice and beans.

Tell me you’re Caribbean without telling me that you’re Caribbean…There’s only one word, Sorrel. As a Trinidadian visiting my first African country for the first time, I was supersized to find a restaurant that carries the essence of the Islands. From the music, to the ambience, to the food, to the beautiful workers, Zimbabwe is blessed to have Sorrel as a business. Spending money here is worth it beyond measure.
