Amazing hotel located on the banks of the Zambezi river (Zambian side) in the heart of the Lower Zambezi park. The lodge is stunningly beautiful in architecture, decor and backdrop (Zambezi river on one side and a winter thorn magical tree forest on the other side). There’s a main lodge area with two bars, a main dining area, lounge areas and a full game room on the second floor. The rooms are giant and very well appointed and provisioned. There is also a gym, yoga space and spa. In addition to the beauty of the lodge itself, the staff is so warm and welcoming. It’s definitely a small place where everyone knows your name and is eager to please. The food is excellent - from the local bbq night at the boma to every other meal we had. Their chef Kelvin definitely knows what he’s doing in the kitchen. This is some of the best food we’ve ever had on safari. That leaves the activities. They basically consist of your typical safari game drives and river activities. The game in this park is just everywhere. You can’t go one minute without seeing tons of elephants, impalas, water bucks, baboons and other animals. Definitely one of the most densely animal packed places we’ve been. There also are lots of lions and hyenas. But the highlight for us was the leopards. So many places may have a leopard or two but they’re so hard to find and when you do find them you might get a quick glimpse before they run away. But here they literally have a book of the local leopards as they see them all the time. We got two great leopard sightings during our four nights at Lolebezi including one where we got to spend an hour watching a leopard lounge, walk and pose for our pictures. The leopards here definitely are not shy to humans. And then the ability to go out onto the Zambezi river to do a boat cruise or fish on the river and see hippos, crocs and elephants in the river is really special. This place checks all the boxes - location, beautiful and luxurious lodge, amazing staff, excellent food and great activities. Highly recommend Lolebezi!

Amazing location and incredibly well appointed. Staff are fantastic and the fishing on the Zambezi was a real treat from the usual safari experience. The only tiny quibble was the speed of service : meals seemed to take a while to come out which was more annoying on the first day when we were exhausted from travelling to the camp.

From the moment we were collected from the airstrip by our Guide Elijah we experienced exceptional service. I will start with Elijah as he was the person we spent the most time with. Wow what a "One Stop Activity Shop" he is - he took us on drives, canoeing, river cruising, fishing and even did some stargazing with us. Always accommodating, cheerful and so knowledgeable. What an asset he is. The lodge staff lead by Front of House Brinah were also amazing. They are attentive without being intrusive. They set up dinner for us in various spots including one night at our room complete with Birthday Cake. On Mothers Day there was a welcome platter and Bubbly which I thought was a great touch. The food was delicious, good choices and plentiful - in fact it seemed that food was always being served so a shout out to the Chef for an outstanding job. The rooms are spacious and luxurious and right on the river so always something different to view. We were lucky enough to have elephants visit us right outside our room. What a great place to spend time to relax and reset.

I enjoyed my visit during schedule of work and would like to revisit for leasure. I loved the gesture from the management and chief and waiters. The main dish was delicious and awesome. It gets cold place in winter as it lies in a stream with awesome breeze from the Zambezi river, it's an amazing beautiful lodge in middle of the park with wild animals all over "carnivores and herbivores. I would love to work from here..

Great spot on the Lower Zambezi River. Love the sounds of the hippos. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Beautiful architecture. Guides are very professional and friendly. Food is well prepared and presented. Options are set but changes can be accommodated by the chef. The staff is very professional, friendly and do their best to satisfy guests. No fenced so animals roam freely.
