Aqua Safari Resort

The location is stunning, no doubt about that. It’s peaceful and perfect for photos but beyond the views, it doesn’t quite live up to the hype. What’s shown online isn’t really giving the full picture. There weren’t many activities available during our stay. We ended up playing tennis because it was the only thing available and the kids went swimming thankfully. Waiters and lifeguards were absolutely amazing. We hired a boat and visited the Safari Eco Park, which was honestly the best part of the trip. However, we were told the other islands were closed, which was disappointing. The biggest issue. The food service is painfully slow. The meals weren’t bad, but the wait time was far too long. Overall, Aqua Safari is a gorgeous setting, but it needs better activity options all year round and a serious improvement in service to match what’s advertised online.

Fantastic fulfilling ideal vacation destination. Great venue for conferences and seminars. The environment is well crafted/designed to give the ideal intentional ecological effect. Aqua Safari is beautiful. They keep upgrading the place to maintain their 5 star status. Kudos to the management and staff.

I loved every bit of it , from the reception to how serene the environment is . Lovely workers always smiling to their customers. The tranquility of the environment is a top notch. The workers were gentle and lovely especially the tour guide Mr Ernest , Eva and Hamphrey from the recreational center. God bless you all . I loved every piece of it and I would love to be back .

They have everything from horses, tortoises and other animals for the kids to see. Lots of games. The property is stunning. We did the boat ride and visited the reptile island. Would return again. What a gem.

This review is all about context. Especially when it comes to the value for money proposition. In short, I've stayed in may hotels around the world with similar room rates and unfortunately, Aqua Safari Resort falls well short of keeping up with the competition. The setting is undeniably beautiful. The staff are very friendly and trying to help but there are too many of them with seemingly nobody directing them. The buffet food is average at best. The a la carte menu is better but expect extremely long wait times. We initially stayed in a standard room...it was terrible. Old, tired, dark, dingy and in a state of disrepair. We then upgraded to a delux room. Much nicer but terrible drain smell in the bathroom throughout. For the money just unacceptable! The tennis court is not a tennis court but a wavey piece of lawn, a lonely archery board. We took a 1 hour excursion on one of their boats down the river which absolutely lovely and highly recommend. The pool on the first day was green, it was treated that night and returned to a normal colour the next day. Constant loud music being played from 6am in the morning until late at night. Don't get me wrong, I love music and it adds to the atmosphere but the volume levels are insane...you have to shout at eachother in the pool area if you want a conversation. Anyway, I could go on. This place has so much potential but it needs managers on the floor that direct the staff, it needs more maintenance everywhere, food needs to improve.
