Nirvana Heights Resorts & Spa

It's not a bad place, it has a good view, but the food is very poor quality and very expensive. I waited for more than an hour after ordering my food. the service was not good?

Nirvana Heights Resort & Spa is a beautiful hotel in Rubavu. The swimming pool, which seems to sit right above Lake Kivu, offers a breathtaking view. It feels like paradise, where everything else fades away. It's the perfect spot for a romantic getaway with your loved one. You wouldn't want to miss this if you're visiting Rubavu.

I loved the scenery overlooking Lake Kivu. Nirvana has a lovely pool with a good view of the lake.... Also loved the local hut inspired room designs equipped with modern toilet facilities. The location is also a walking distance to the beach side where you can board a boat to get to the natural hot water spring.

Beautiful terrace, beautiful infinity pool with a stunning view. Very friendly service. We stayed there for three nights and somehow, the service was different every day. On the first day, we had an excellent breakfast with great variety, next day only some fruits, bread and soup. On the third day, things were almost back to normal again. Service is very friendly, but quite slow and one of us got food poisening from the lettuce that might not have been washed properly, so try to avoid the salads. All in all, a super nice place, great location but could be improved in terms of service, cleanliness (our floor in the room was very dusty) and small things like lamps that do not work next to the bed or mold in the bathrooms.

Beautiful infinity pool. One of the best views in Rwanda! Great food and service. Highly recommend coming here for sunset drinks and dinner if you are in Gisenyi. We only came for the day but I saw the rooms and they look very nice! Will definitely come back and stay for a weekend. Lovely spot.
