Tamala Resort

We got a transfer here from poor treatment at another hotel. Well what a difference! Beautiful hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Sambou on reception has excellent customer service skills and we appreciated his input and help. The general manager also v helpful and personable Great pool, food v good. Breakfast fantastic standard and a lot of choice. Can highly recommend. Thanks again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing stay at Tamala Beach Resort! From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, welcoming, and top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every part of my stay was enjoyable. The people were friendly, attentive, and always had a smile on their face. The environment was absolutely beautiful — from the stunning beachfront views to the relaxing atmosphere, it truly felt like a slice of paradise. I can’t wait to return and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting The Gambia!

I took a week off from work to rest and it was the best idea i had to go to Tamala. From the large, nice and clean room, the beautiful scenery to the kindness of the staff, everything was impeccable. I had to extend my stay for one more day. I had an excellent experience. I highly recommend this hotel

The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful I loved the mixture of contemporary and African decor. The staff were extremely friendly,, always greeted us with ‘hi, how are you’ did you sleep well’ and more. The only thing I was slightly disappointed about was the entertainment, but I know that’s something that can always be improved on. The gym was okay, but I do feel it needed to be cleaned more and the equipment needs to be cleaned and maintained more as some were broken. I would highly recommend this hotel if you need somewhere quite and relaxing to chill.

I brought a group of 21 individuals to this resort. I had communicated with them since November regarding our reservations. When we arrived in May, no one could find the reservations. The rooms were FILTHY and several had to change rooms because the AC didn't work. I had reserved rooms with two beds. Their version of two beds was putting a literal cot bed ON THE FLOOR. Not to mention, out of 21 people, 15 of us got violent diarrhea from the food. I am just now recovering and it took almost a week. Customer service was horrible. Overall would not recommend. Particularly for large tours.
