Great spot for dinner! Food was delicious and service was warm and friendly—our waiter even recommended some other typical South African dishes and beverages to explore on the rest of our trip which was lovely. I also appreciate the thought put into the food. At the time they were highlighting millet since the UN general assembly declared 2023 the International Year of Millet, and each of our dishes had millet in it and each dish was delicious. I even had an upset stomach from recently traveling but still ate everything!
An absolutely fantastic experience! They were completely accommodating to our vegetarianism; every item on the menu had a meat free substitute. The aubergine sauce was unbelievable, we were pouring it into our spoons to get every last drop. The service was excellent as well.
I really enjoyed Chef Mmabatho’s tasting menu showcasing millet in every dish creatively. The food was very delicious, carefully thought out and beautifully presented. The wine pairing also went very well with each dish. Service was very good as well and all staff were extremely friendly. Next time I’m in Cape Town I’ll be sure to make another visit!
Our fine dining experience at Emazulwini far exceeded our expectations. The food is incredible and is a true credit to the chef.
We were recommended by a couple we met to eat here and we are so grateful to them for recommending such a wonderful place.
The service from all of the staff was amazing and we left very happy.
Thank you so much
The food tastes fresh, flavourful and is an adventure because each plate is like an art piece. The service is brilliant, loved the white wine on offer and the restaurant boasts beautiful views of the harbour. I’ll be returning a million times.
