The Milk Restaurant and Bar

This other morning we had breakfast @ The Milk, none of us complained about the bad service or anything except for the breakfast taking longer than expected. I mean it was just eggs and bacon. Otherwise, finally arrived and the food was well cooked and tasted great. Can’t be any prouder cause that’s the township giving us the city benefits effortlessly.

This place keeps on disappointing me and after today, I’ll never step foot in this place again and will not recommend to anyone either. The last time I was here with my friend, I was served by a drunk waiter. We visited the place again today, the waiters/waitresses are busy drinking behind the bar and not attending to us. It took them a while to be attended. They took their time to bring us our drinks as well. We requested for glasses and they told us they don’t have glasses.

First time at The Milk. Engaging in my favourite activity...#MeatEating. The wings were juicy and tasty, the ribs done just right. Will definitely be coming back to try some of the other dishes, maybe with champagne next time.

The T-Bone steak was very tasty and prepared well(medium rare). Ordered a cheeseburger and it came with more than just cheese (+ egg, + bacon). It’s a pity that most of the food on the menu wasn’t available since I had came there to explore the food The vibe is groovy

I ordered the 300g sirloin steak. Good value. The kitchen made an error though cooking mine first, and my guests after, so mine came out cold and had to be sent back to reheat. A nice sunny spot despite the chill wind and our tourist guests appreciated the view and insights into Khayelitsha, which was not on their organsied tour schedule. The place starts to get pumping in the late afternoon and looked like there would be a good party starting, as we headed out.
