Wonderful setting and atmosphere. Sounds of the waves while having a good meal is always a winner. On the beach, tranquil colours and inviting ambience. Service is good, it may get rowdy with a heavy influx of people at times. Often there may be tables bunched so consider this if not your fancy and opt for the tables closer, bigger and more adapt/next to the beach. Food is very good, nice selections with good presentations. Certainly a place you will want to give a go. Parking might be tricky especially when busy (safety outside a factor too) once in its cocooned and peaceful. PS: try the interesting desserts too 🇦🇴🥘

If you are looking for an amazing looking and tasting meal, look no further. The service was great, and the ocean breeze and waves make all but the loudest of surrounding tables fade to a low hum. The desserts were scrumptious, and the wine list was one of the larger ones I saw in Luanda. Going back is a certainty if I return to Angola.

Lovely open-air place on the beach, very nicely decorated. The food was good. I had the aubergine fillet with sweet potatoes, very tasty. One colleague had the prawns which were very good, another had the pasta which was just ok., although to be fair, she had eaten most of the bread basket before her meal arrived The service was a bit slow, with lot's of staff standing around but not really paying attention to the customers, however, when we attracted their attention they were very efficient. Like most places on the Ilhe, it wasn't cheap

Café del Mar is a popular beach club and music brand in Luanda that originated in Ibiza.. relaxed atmosphere, great sand beach,beautiful sunset views, chill-out music. Café del Mar is a nice gathering place for locals and tourists alike. It offers its own unique ambiance with outdoor seating areas overlooking the sea, comfortable lounge areas, and a great food and drinks! Be patient, place is often full, you d need maybe to wait a little, and start by a delicious cocktail !

Very good food. Quality driven. Good ambience. Good crowd. Loved the place. Hot chocolate moose ice cream , lobsters worth trying.
