a month agoGood resort but we choose a resort without children for the relaxing... the Dutch are extremely present with their loud music at the pool, like we are sitting in a Dutch pub. We did not choose for this. A lott off people complain about this but gladly the going fast to home Food is normal and fresh. On sunday the lunch at Tamala is very well mabey they can do this more often! I don’t drink much alcohol but red wine is good for a resort, I think one of the better wines I ever had. Every night the live music is really great. Staff is very nice and the rooms are big and almost clean. Under the bed is a little dust. The cleaning staff shouts very early in the morning (around 6 am) at each other every morning so sleeping long is not an option. We also said something about it and they understood it. The garden and fixing management is very good, work hard and nice.

4 months agoGreat, comfprtable place with very friendly staff. The rooms are located around centric swimming pools just a few steps away from a private beach and the ocean, in a setting of a tropical garden with palm and banana trees. Wifi is super fast, water in the rooms has good pressure and is instantly warm. Rooms are spacious, clean and have great aircon. The restaurant offers a good variety of food and the bar is never out of drinks. Five stars well deserved!

a year agoWhat can I say. We had a great experience here. Service was outstanding. Staff are well trained and always there to make the stay the best it can be. Victor the manager should be very proud of his staff and of himself the way he runs the hotel. A massive thank you to all at Kalimba beach resort for a truly fantastic holiday.

2 months agoFood is awful, my wife is already sick after just 1 day. They say all-inclusive but it's not all-inclusive. They serve nice food in the à la carte restaurant, but you have to pay extra for that (and it's expensive compared to restaurants in the area). So they have nice food and different food available, but they don't serve it for the all-inclusive guests. The broccoli is hard and sweaty, can't believe a cook made that. A 5 year old child cooks better than that. Also, the drinks are either with a lot of sugar or with alcohol. They have zero beverages but you also have to pay for that as well (again not all-inclusive!). We paid a lot of money for all-inclusive, but we don't get it, it's actually ridiculous. We are here till Sunday so hopefully something will change about the food they offer and about the zero lemonade beverages they don't offer (as they stated in previous responds on reviews). But I doubt it. Pools are nice, rooms are okay.
