2 weeks agoThe service at Lira was satisfactory, and the ambiance was excellent. However, many menu items, such as oxtail and fries, were unavailable. We opted for the shiya nyama option instead, but the beef was dry, and there was no sauce provided. Despite this, the overall experience was decent. The service, restaurant environment, scenic view, and the quality of wine were all enjoyable.ohhh, minimum spend at the restaurant is R350 pp.

4 months agoLet your price match your food portion and taste. We understand it’s fine dining, but hai keep that standard with the food at least. Presentation and taste should be top notch 🤌🏾🤌🏾 Your service is also slow , for the prices we pay for meals, we should at least have appetisers/ complimentary meals ( soup and croutons or rolls). The place is beautiful, just improve on the food. This is definitely not worth R260.

2 months agoMade a booking and had to unfortunately cancel before I could go, I cancelled a month prior and I was still legible for 100% deposit back. I am writing this a month later and I have not received a cent of my deposit. They are sending me from pillar to post, I have emailed and Whatsapped them but all I get is "we are having technical issues" or "your refund is being processed". Worst experience from Lira boutique spa

7 months agoThe Christmas lunch special is a scam!! They were over an hour late from start time - they were not prepared, the cocktails had no alcohol in them, no live band as advertised and worst of all, the food (buffet) was extremely dry, cold, tasteless and most of the food ran out before you can dish for yourself due to long lines. For dessert you literally had to fight people from grabbing the cakes, all order was lost. We asked to speak to the manager about 5 times but no word, the manger either doesn't exist or is avoiding customers. This experience definitely not worth R700 pp on Christmas. My family and I are extremely disappointed..Wish I could give them a negative rating

6 months agoWe hosted a birthday lunch here, great atmosphere by the waterfront, the venue is quite nice to host parties, weddings, etc. You access through a tarred road except for the last c1km. The access road is a bit of a challenge for smaller (non SUV) cars due to the poor state of the dusty road through the surrounding village.
