Lolebezi Safari Lodge

Great spot on the Lower Zambezi River. Love the sounds of the hippos. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Beautiful architecture. Guides are very professional and friendly. Food is well prepared and presented. Options are set but changes can be accommodated by the chef. The staff is very professional, friendly and do their best to satisfy guests. No fenced so animals roam freely.

From the moment we were collected from the airstrip by our Guide Elijah we experienced exceptional service. I will start with Elijah as he was the person we spent the most time with. Wow what a "One Stop Activity Shop" he is - he took us on drives, canoeing, river cruising, fishing and even did some stargazing with us. Always accommodating, cheerful and so knowledgeable. What an asset he is. The lodge staff lead by Front of House Brinah were also amazing. They are attentive without being intrusive. They set up dinner for us in various spots including one night at our room complete with Birthday Cake. On Mothers Day there was a welcome platter and Bubbly which I thought was a great touch. The food was delicious, good choices and plentiful - in fact it seemed that food was always being served so a shout out to the Chef for an outstanding job. The rooms are spacious and luxurious and right on the river so always something different to view. We were lucky enough to have elephants visit us right outside our room. What a great place to spend time to relax and reset.

Lolebezi - Lower Zambezi An elegant and perfect resort on the banks of the Lower Zambezi . This beautiful safari lodge is the perfect place for lovers of wildlife. Staying four days at the Lolebezi has spoiled us and we will be comparing other safari lodges with Lolebezi Safari Lodge. The lounge and common areas are designed in harmony with the surroundings. Comfortable couches, recliners. An infinity pool and a bar that is extremely well stocked. The staff are there, at your beck and call, no request is too small to attend to. The food was top notch. Delicious and well plated. The chalets are fashioned out of high end tents - air conditioned. And each chalet has its own private swimming pool and outdoor shower. The Game Drives were fantastic. Our guide took a lot of trouble driving around for us to spot lions and leopards. We left with a heavy heart hoping that we could extend our stay for a few more days.

A jewel in the lower Zambezi national park along the Zambezi River. You are surrounded by elephants grazing throughout the day. The staff were amazing and made us feel at home. The game drives and fishing is also awesome. Highly recommend.
