Smile Lounge

This place is really nice for afternoon tea. I stopped by during Ramadan and the place was empty so I had the it to myself. The service was good. Bring cash because they don’t take cards. I’ll be prepared for my next visit.

Beautiful decor. Wrong order but this seems to be the case a bit in The Gambia, they bring you what they have not what you ask for but the food was great so not complaining!

A great lunch time. We went with family and had the buffet which we found very reasonable and a nice variety of food. We tried the icecream and some of the fruit drinks. Very happy and a nice setting/ environment.

Stopped here for their smile belly breakfast, cheese and onion omelette, coffee, and tea. True to their word it is a smiling happy place. The staff are efficient and serve very well - impressed by how our waiter Ousman served each of us on our right side, obviously a standard set at this restaurant. Also liked the fact that my tea was served in a teapot so I could have more than one cup. The young but experienced owners, Zandela and her husband Alieu, who was celebrating his birthday, even spent some time chatting to us. Really pleased for their achievement with this establishment.

Visited smile lounge Gambia opening night visiting from London and it was great, good was nice desserts even better good music the lady who served me was very good and I could tell she was very busy. We will visit again before we leave Gambia. Mac & cheese bits amazing and sea food boil was unlike anything I have ever had. Great restaurant
