The Buka proudly offers a fusion of local eclectic dishes from Ghana and Nigeria.
Our restaurant is an evocative description of the excitement and lifestyle of the African landscape. The calm and scenic setting sets the tone, and a taste of our meals completes the enthralling Buka culinary experience.

a month agoI really enjoyed the food here so much so that I visited 3 times on my short trip in Accra. Service can be a bit slow but I don't mind much. Walking in I knew I would like the food as it smelt like my own kitchen, full of flavourful aromas. I however didn't like the rice for the waakye it was extremely dried out. Would definitely return

a month agoAs always Buka is a great experience. Food tasted great, and the wait for the food went by quickly. Due to it being off-season we were seated quickly and were able to get our drinks without a hitch. Our server was very helpful with getting our order in as efficiently as possible. My only complaint is that the kitchen did not do such a great job packing our food to go.They neglected to pack my sisters banku as well as the sauce for our chicken. More attention is needed when packing food, but other than that I enjoyed the experience.

4 weeks agoVisited here via a recommendation and it did not disappointment. My meal was very good and was more impressed the way my yam was sliced up. Meal overall was good. The environment was neat and tidy and noise level was good. The waiters were very good just a couple times my drink was forgotten but still a good service. Will visit next time I am in town.

a month agoBuka is a great place for Ghanaian and Nigerian local dishes. they do have some Western food too. It's a great place for friends and family. They close at 9 pm sadly 👀. It has a conducive atmosphere and a clean washroom setting. Check them out 🎉🤩

3 weeks agoThis place is such a breath of fresh air. The decor is very tastefully done, feels like a tropical paradise and has a lovely vibe. The menu has a good selection of west African dishes (but notw if you want fufu and soup or Waakye, it's only between noon and 3pm!). The service is very attentive (even if it took a while to get our water...which seems to be a running theme in a lot of restaurants in Accra). Everything else came in good time though, lovely cocktails and tasty food as well. Quite big portions, so if you have a small appetite you may want to share! Highly recommended!
