Floating Bar & Restaurant Lamu

A very special place to take your dinner while watching the sunset from the sea. We were there on a Wednesday and were surprisingly the only guests. The service was warm and we enjoyed the time at the Floatingbar. Also the food was delicious - everyone of us was totally happy with their selection. Definitely a place to visit again. As far as I know there also happens amazing nights with music and dance. Keep up the work full of passion for what you do!

Waited for 1 and a half hours and got way too small portions for the price. So far the worst restaurant experience in Lamu. Better go to one at the seafront: reasonable prices, big portions and reasonable waiting time.

Wonderful atmosphere, but food took more than 2 hours! And the grilled fish was super dry, burnt and tasteless. Barely an apology and full price for food that was clearly late - and was the only paying guest on empty restaurant.

I was so excited to try their sea food platter so we called and made a reservation.upon our arrival the food was not ready, the waiter had an attitude while we could see her eating our food as it was prepared. The worst part the food come and it wasn't fresh ,you could hear the smell.We escalated it further and shamelessly the cashier come with a receipt to charge us full price , no apology just a girl with bad attitude. I would not recommend

House dry white wine was not great. Food was overpriced and pretty awful. Dance music. Turns out this is the floating bar and the floating restaurant is to the left - supposedly better food and quieter. Too bad. Fun to be on a floating anything though! Great views.
