a week agoFood I love you is another Joburg surprise. Its hidden in the far corner of the Old Fort on Constitution Hill. This is where those who choose to hope, gather around large tables, linger, connect, while appreciating flavours, conversations, textures and taste combinations. The venue is the refurbished prison kitchen. Food is served on “african crystal” (aka enamel bowls). But instead of being a place of hardship. There is a noticeable transformation, into something that skirts on delight and laughter.

5 months agoI had an early dinner here for a function. Everything was just perfection. The table setting was magnificent. The food was outstanding and the sommelier got it spot on. Wish the hours were different

4 months agoVery nice place with a pleasant terrace ! Food was very good ! It’s a buffet with vegetarian and vegan options and the price depends on the weight of your plate. With a friendly service!

9 months agoFood I Love You is such a Gem, located inside the Constitutional Hill. Great food, AMAZING WINE LIST! and a really great venue to host any event. Mpho, the owner, has done a great job here!

12 months agoGreat little venue with lots of tangible history around. Staff is super friendly and efficient and the harvest table is a true feast. Well worth a visit!
