in the last weekThe worst wine farm on the tram route. Skip it, you will thank me later...

a week agoThis was my favourite stop on the Franschhoek Wine Tram blue route. The building and wine tasting room are beautiful — spacious, elegant, and set against a stunning backdrop. It’s a wonderful place to relax and really enjoy the surroundings while tasting their wines. A highlight is the weekend spitbraai, which is excellent — just make sure to book in advance, as it’s very popular. Overall, a fantastic wine farm and an absolute must-stop on the route.

2 weeks agoIt was an honor to visit this boutique wine estate on my recent visit to Cape Town and to learn about the rich history of the estate. I came away with a few bottles of wine to enjoy once I returned home to the US. I highly recommend a trip to this winery of you are ever in the Cape Town area.
