3 months agoI recently had lunch with friends at this restaurant. The space itself is lovely, but unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. I had the Tuscan chicken pasta, it was okay at the restaurant, but I couldn’t bring myself to finish the leftovers later (and I REALLY love pasta). My friend had the pork ribs and wasn’t impressed either, though he ate them since we were going to pay for it anyway. I also tried the Paloma cocktail special, which was just alright. On the upside, our waiter was friendly and attentive, but overall, the experience was a miss for me.

a month agoI had a good time here. We came as a large group, and the food and drinks were pretty good. The service was also good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. This spot will be great in summer

3 months agoWe woke up late but still wanted breakfast. This was one of the few places serving breakfast after 12:00. Lemme first say, cute aesthetics. Amazing service. The food was B.A.D. I had the Waffle Benedict with Salmon. I was sceptical but up for trying something new. The waffle was too sweet and dense for my liking and the hollandaise was also too sweet. My husband had salmon croissant and that too was a miss. Even our tea was a miss. Weak and unappealing, we ended up asking for more teabags in the pot. Look maybe they do dinner well 🤷🏻♀️ But first impressions count so count me out.

a year agoThe restaurant is located in a lovely spot, good ambiance and the service was good. The drinks were lovely. I enjoyed my lamb chops main meal, however had to send my dessert back when it eventually arrived quite long after the mains. The beef dish was slightly overcooked but still enjoyable. The staff were attentive and handled the “dessert situation” quite well. With a little more attention to the finer details, I think this place could potentially be a gem.

7 months agoVisited Math for the first time on Valentine’s Day. The 3 course menu was really good, especially the main course. Unfortunately, the service was horrendous. My food got cold while I was waiting for the wine ( it was a wine pairing). I had to ask three times. Zukiso (I hope Im not getting his name wrong) was an absolute God send and definitely saved the night.
