4 months agoThe restaurant is located in a lovely spot, good ambiance and the service was good. The drinks were lovely. I enjoyed my lamb chops main meal, however had to send my dessert back when it eventually arrived quite long after the mains. The beef dish was slightly overcooked but still enjoyable. The staff were attentive and handled the “dessert situation” quite well. With a little more attention to the finer details, I think this place could potentially be a gem.

2 months agoThere’s room for improvement with regard to service. The waiters would forget about us and then at some point we had different waiters coming to our table around the same time to check if we are fine . But the vibe is great , love the atmosphere. We sat comfortably outside and the breeze was awesome. The drinks 🔥🔥 yay you can taste the booze and the glasses are not too big . Definitely going back for the brunch . Their brunch menu is killer and I would love to try it . I’ll leave another review soon

4 weeks agoThe place is quite small and intimate which is lovely, the service is amazing but I’m not a fan of the menu or the food. It felt like the concept of the place was rushed, the menu did not make sense and some of the menu items were out of stock, I didn’t understand what the concept of the restaurant is supposed to be, what were the main themes or flavours, they had peri peri wings, pasta, oysters but didn’t even have a steak selection, it’s a little bit of everything and a whole lot of nothing. Nothing memorable about the food, the chefs know how to prepare the food, no mistakes and presentation is a plus, but I’d suggest the restaurant reflects on their menu items and add more items. The place had more drink variety than food. Very limited if you’re a picky eater

6 months agoThe owner is amazing, he engages customers in such a warm and genuine way. The menu is amazing. It feels like there’s a meal for whatever occasion it is. Also love the drinks menu. The salad menu, absolutely yes any day. Beautiful restaurant where you can go for after work drinks and some wings or a girls outing. It’s definitely for all seasons. It’s also black owned, that’s 2 extra starts giving my rating 7 stars

3 months agoWent to Math last night with a friend. It wasn't that busy which was surprising for a Friday night. My friend and I both ordered the Steak and fries, which was extremely disappointing. We both asked for our steak to be done medium and we both received very well done, hard, chewy steak. Im sure if it was done the way we asked, I would have rated higher but neither of us could finish it because it was very hard to chew. I've read another review mentioning the same issue with the steak. It wasn't a busy night so we couldn't understand what happened. The wings were good but the seafood pasta was a bit too heavy on the tomato for me.
