Okay now- this place is great ! The food exceeded my expectations. The sushi, fish platter, and meat platter were absolutely delicious. The ingredients are fresh and my favourite part of the experience is being able to watch the chef prepare your food. There also also Japanese drinks to try. Overall great experience with healthier food options. I will be back
Everything there is nice ...can't complain about anything ,from chefs to waiters, they were all friendly making us feel welcomed....their food is a 10/10 minus nothing. The chefs prepared food right infront of us as we watched . I will definitely go back there and it's a place I would recommend to others.
I went in for dinner on Saturday. Making a booking was easy, and I used dinerplan for that.
When making the booking, they did not ask where I would like to be seated so I could not be seated at the tables where the tapenyaki was made.
My waitress came over and provided the table of 5 with only 2 menus as they were running low on menus, which I think is a bit odd. She did leave a little communication device, so when we needed to call her, she was there quickly.
For my meal, I had a meat Tapenyaki. The starter came with a salad and 2 chicken wings. The first course was nothing to write home about and was mediocre.
Then I received the main, which was Veg stir fry and noodles with lamb. This dish was amazing. The lamb was flavourful and tender. The noodles were also nice, but I preferred a bit more heat, so I added some of the chili sauce it came with. The portion size was generous.
For the dessert, it came with a scoop of ice cream and choice chocolate. The ice cream, like the starter, was mediocre and not too memorable, unfortunately.
I would be back, but I would see if I could get the lamb Tapenyaki as a stand-alone meal.
It’s a lovely place, the beef teppan and lamb chops just melt in your mouth, the fries were fine, not the best I’ve had. I do feel that they could improve the menu book. The images on the menu are pixelated, it looks like they used normal A4 pages and it’s not a good presentation. The service was great, the little device they give you to call your waiter really comes in handy.
Authentic Japanese dining where chefs showcase culinary skills. Engaging experience as they prepare meals tableside. Delicious flavors, excellent value.
